Terms of service

The service

Craftfolio lets you create resumes from templates and export them as PDF or DOCX. We may change, add or remove features, and we try to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give, for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live and at least 16 years old.

Your content

You own the content you put into your resumes. You give us permission to store, process and display it as needed to provide the service, including generating previews and exports. You are responsible for making sure your content is accurate, lawful and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Community templates

If you submit a design to the community library, you confirm that you have the right to share it and you grant Craftfolio and its users a non-exclusive licence to use, display and adapt that design within the service. Submissions are reviewed and we may decline or remove them at our discretion.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others' rights using the service;
• upload malware or attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service;
• scrape the service in a way that burdens it, or resell it without permission;
• submit false, misleading or abusive content.

No guarantee of outcomes

Craftfolio is a tool for presenting your experience. Labels such as "ATS-safe" are guidance about layout, not a promise that any system will parse your resume in a particular way or that you will receive interviews or offers.

Our materials

The Craftfolio software, templates (other than community submissions), name and branding belong to CodeCraft Labs or its licensors. You may use the templates to create and share your own resumes, but not to build a competing template service.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Craftfolio at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, CodeCraft Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of data or opportunities, arising from use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the previous 12 months (which is zero for free accounts). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
